Pond Plants

Plants are the most important element of the pond. They set  appearance of our water tank and provide biological balance.  Our pond  would look much less attractive without plants. Common name of pond called water garden shows it exactly. Water garden is primarily apply to display aquatic plants and creating favorable conditions for the life of ornamental fish such as golden fish and koi carp.

Aquarium and Pond Plants

Plants are essential aspect in ensuring  biological balance. The right amount of plants protects the water tank from blooms: plants inhibit the growth of algae. Small pond should be planted in 2/3 of the whole area.

Floating plants (eg water lilies) play a special role here, which shade the water against the blooms of water. The shore zone is also very important. We plant here such plants as marsh marigold,  the simplestem bur-reed , sedge, grassy plants etc. Plants of the mud or shore area create natural appearance of the water garden.
