How to take care of succulents?

Succulents are easy to grow and tolerant enough to neglect, but that does not mean that you do not have to care of them at all. Fortunately, they can handle a few long weeks without watering, and even if their leaves are not wrinkled by water - we do not have to scare ourselves yet that we have dried up another plant. Succulents should immediately regain their good form after the watering.

Watering: The biggest mistake we can make when planting succulents is too much watering. They should not have  wet substrate continuously.  Therefore take a break between the watering so that succulents dry up. The amount of water depends on the size of the pot, the weather and the time elapsed since the last watering. They should be watered most often in spring, during intense growth (about once a week).  In summer and in the heat a little less, and in winter even once a month.

Location: The ideal place to hold succulents is a sunlit sill,  balcony, or greenhouse. The shade does not serve them because it hampers proper growth and their blooming and makes them less resistant to diseases or pests.

Replanting:  We do not need to worry too much about replanting succulents. They should be replanted when they don't have any space in the pot.   The new soil  should be quite dry. The best time to replant succulents is early spring.
